Obituary for Stephanie (Suida) Francisco
Stephanie (Siuda) Francisco, 87, of Wilbraham, was called to Heaven peacefully on March 16, 2014 surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Indian Orchard, she lived most of her life in Wilbraham and was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and member of its Rosary Sodality. Stephanie worked for over 50 years at State Line Potato Chip Factory until its closing and was a member of the Portuguese American Citizens Club and Lusitano Alumni and Fans. She was also an avid reader and loved to play cards, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her loving family. Stephanie was the beloved wife of the late Antonio “Tony” Francisco, who predeceased her in 1998; a loving mother to Ermelinda Rae and husband Robert, of Southwick, Eileen Reed, of Wilbraham, and Toni Ann Marcus and husband John, of Ludlow; a devoted grandmother to Rob, Marina, and Sierra; a dear sister to the late Genevieve Santucci, and Stanley and Mitchell Suida; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Stephanie will be held on Friday, March 21st at 10am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4-8pm.
