She met her to-be-be husband Mitch, prior to him being deployed to Hawaii and the Philippines during WWII with the United States Coast Guard. They married in 1946 and gave birth to their one and only son, Mitchell in 1948. Her husband Mitch predeceased her in 2002, as well as her son in 2017. The family wishes to thank the very kind care staff of the Arbors in Westfield, Baystate Health System, Governor's Center, Wingate of East Longmeadow, Lifepath in Greenfield, and Compassus Hospice. The family wishes to also thank Sara Edwards and Sheryl Cook for the care and love that they gave to Nana in her final weeks and days.
