Obituary for Steven Anthony DeMatos
Steven Anthony DeMatos, 41, of Ludlow passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at his home. Born January 29, 1976 to Mary and the late Antonio DeMatos, he was a life-long resident of Ludlow. Steven was graduated from the Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative. He enjoyed traveling with his family especially his many trips to Disney World. He was a big Boston sports fan, following his Red Sox and Patriots with passion. His joy of animals brought him much happiness throughout his life and had many pets. He will be missed by his cat Trot. Steven leaves his beloved mother Mary. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Celeste and her husband Martin, his brother Albert and his wife Rebecca, and his nephew and niece Chris and Laura Fanning. He is also preceded by a sister Irene Marie. Steven will also be remembered by his Tio and Tia Manuel and Teresa Salvador of Penns Grove New Jersey, Tia Armanda Rodriques of Ludlow and all of his extended family. Steven had a way of bringing out the best in everyone and teaching caring and compassion in his own way. He made people smile, was loved and will missed by all who knew him. Stevens services will be held privately by his family.
