Obituary for Steven Santos
Steven Santos, 63, of West Warren, passed away on October 14, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with bladder cancer. It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Steven faced his illness with remarkable strength, dignity, and faith—never losing his unique sense of humor or his boundless love for the family around him. His presence touched countless lives, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A proud graduate of Ludlow High School, Class of 1980, Steven built a life centered around hard work, dedication, and family. He was employed for many years at Milton Bradley, and later worked alongside his brother Jack as an HVAC and plumbing technician, where his skill and strong work ethic earned the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
Steven will be remembered as a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and beloved brother. He is survived by his loving daughters Desirae, Cassandra, and Kaitlin (Christopher); his cherished granddaughters Akasha, Akirah, Akeena, Willow, and Iris; and his brothers Arthur (Carol) and Jack (Mary Ellen). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
He was predeceased by his son Abel, his brother Carlo, and his parents Abel and Lena Santos. Though they have gone before him, their love and memory live on in the hearts of those they left behind.
Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East Street, Ludlow, Massachusetts. A funeral service celebrating Steven’s life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, everyone is asked to gather at the Funeral Home for 11:00am with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Reservoir Cemetery, 1870 Center Steet, Ludlow, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or the GoFundMe page to help support his final expenses and honor his memory.
The family is forever grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown to Steven and all who stood by him throughout his journey. Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
