Obituary for Susan L. (Crabtree) Grenda
Susan L. (Crabtree) Grenda, 56, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Holyoke, the beloved daughter of the late Maude (Williams) Crabtree, she was a graduate of Holyoke High School and has lived in Ludlow for many years. Susan was the beloved wife of 22 years to Albert Grenda; a loving mother to Mark Grenda, of Springfield, and Shelley Clark and her husband Al, of Arizona; a cherished grandmother to several grandchildren; a dear sister to Joan Bobbie Mineville, of N.Y., Ruth Crabtree, of Chicopee, and Jackie Mantel, of Holyoke; a loving daughter-in-law to Mary Grenda, of Hyde Park, Ma; a dear sister-in-law to Dorothy Morton and her husband Gene Morton, of Jacksonville, FL, Christine Accomando and her husband Dr. William Accomando, of Ipswich, Ma., and Elaine Grenda, of Hyde Park, Ma. Susan also leaves several other adoring family members and dear friends; as well as her devoted cat Socks. At Susan’s request, all funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.Â
