Obituary for Sydney St. Marie
Sydney R. St. Marie, 58, of Westfield and formerly Ludlow passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. Born in Springfield to the late Sydney and Catherine (Trombley) St. Marie, he was raised and educated in Ludlow and enjoyed arm wrestling, hunting, pool, bowling and listening to music but his greatest joy in life was his loving family and spending time with his grandchildren at the Cape. He leaves his cherished daughters Krystal St. Marie of Ludlow, Melissa Stefanowich and husband Scott of Chicopee and Brittany St. Marie of Southwick, as well as their mother Helen (Dias) St. Marie of Ludlow; caring brothers John St. Marie and wife Diana and Ray St. Marie and his wife Maria both of Ludlow and sadly predeceased by his sister Deborah St. Marie; he leaves his adored granddaughters Kayleigh and Meghan Stefanowich; his aunt Mary Hemingway along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Sydney's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Western Mass Hospital in Westfield for the excellent care and support they provided him. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Syd’s name to: Huntington’s Disease Society of America @ hdsa.org. Walk-through, no-contact visiting hours for Syd will be Saturday, October 3rd 2020 from 10:00am – 12:00pm. at Ludlow Funeral Home.
