Obituary for Terri L. (Marden) Provost
Terri L. (Marden) Provost, was called safely home on August 31, 2007. Born in Lawrence, Ma., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Stella (Davis) Marden.  She lived for many years in Nashua, NH and graduated from Nashua High School in 1963 before moving to Belchertown in 1978 where she was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi. Terri worked as a caregiver for the handicapped for 23 years, and loved each of her clients. Terri enjoyed reading, taking trips to the casinos in Las Vegas and Connecticut; but her greatest joys were her grandchildren.  Terri was the beloved wife of 30 years to Gerard “Jerry” Provost; the loving and devoted mother of Eric W. Cloutier and his wife Jamie L. of Maryland, Jody L. Cloutier and his wife Danielle M. of Belchertown, Lisa L. Forest and her companion Adam Dulude of Belchertown and the late Brian K. Cloutier who predeceased her in 1989; a dear sister to Robert Marden and his wife June of Florida; and a cherished grandmother to her pride and joy’s Mara Anne, Autumn Lynn, Jordan Lee, Justin Lee, Jessica Lauryn and Nicholas Brian; and also leaves several loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.  Funeral services will be on Friday morning at 9:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home 432 East St. Ludlow with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Belchertown followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.  Visiting hours are on Thursday evening from 4-7pm and donations may be made in Terri’s memory to The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, DMR, 171 State St. Palmer, Ma. 01069 (attn: Consumer Benefits, West St., Amherst) and American Lung Association393 Maple St. Springfield, Ma. 01105.
