Obituary for Theodore P. Siok
Theodore P. Siok, 77, of Ludlow passed away peacefully Sunday, June 4, 2006.  Born in Ludlow, Ted was a lifelong resident and owned Ted Siok’s Nursery and Greenhouse on Miller St.  He was a landscape designer and won many awards including the best in show at the former Connecticut Valley Gardening Show.  He attended the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMASS and belonged to its’ ATG Fraternity and was an avid gardener and fisherman.  Ted was a letter carrier for many years and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1989.  He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Bryans) Siok who predeceased him in 1975; a loving father of Theodore Siok and his wife Susan of Wales and Valerie Wilczynski and her husband Robert of Palmer; cherished grandfather of Joshua Siok, Jeremiah Siok and Elizabeth Siok all of Wales; caring brother of Julian Siok of Ludlow, Dorothy Smeigel of Bondsville, Stella Carignan of West Springfield, and Helen Katsanos of Wilbraham and the late Bertha Costa, Viola Kozaczka and Nellie Wawrzonek; and also leaves several loving nieces nephews family and friends.  A chapel service will be held Wednesday , June 7, 2006 at Ludlow Funeral Home beginning at 10:00am with Pastor Paul Anderson from Faith Baptist Church officiating.  Rites of committal to follow at Island Pond Cemetery.  Visiting hours are Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9pm and in lieu of flowers donation’s may be made in Theodore’s memory to the Faith Baptist Church, Shearer St. Palmer, MA. 01069.
