Obituary for Theresa (Durand) Menard
Theresa (Durand) Menard, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born in Chicopee to Ovila and Edna Durand where she lived most of her life before moving to Ludlow. Terry enjoyed her career as an RN dedicating many years to the field of OBGYN before retiring. She also loved to travel, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her large family. Terry was the beloved wife of 73 years to Norman J. Menard; a loving mother to Paulette Drobot and husband Joseph, of Ludlow, Jacquelyn Kowal and husband Thomas, of Belchertown, Susan Szukala and husband John, of North Carolina, and Russell Menard and wife Catherine, of Belchertown; a dear sister to Lorraine Taylor and the late Jeanne Dvorchak; and also leaves 9 cherished grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; many loving extended family members and friends. At Terry’s request, funeral services will be held privately by her family in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
