Obituary for Theresa Goodrich
Theresa “Percy” Goodrich (Alves), 95, of Ludlow, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 at home, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Ludlow, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Antonia Alves. She spent her entire life in Ludlow, attended their local schools and worked for Westinghouse in her early years. She enjoyed reading, making puzzles, playing cards, listening to country music, and watching Hallmark movies. Her family was the most important thing to her, and enjoyed looking through her many photo albums from over the years. Her beloved husband of 68 years, James Goodrich, passed away in 2015. Theresa leaves behind her daughter Joyce Lucey and her husband Kevin of Belchertown; grandchildren, Kelly Murray and her husband Don of Belchertown, Debbie Maynard and her husband Bob of North Carolina; three great grandchildren who she adored, Lauren, Amanda, and Nathan Murray. She was predeceased by her grandson Jeffrey in 2004 after his return from Iraq. Theresa will be dearly missed by her sisters Lucy Lavoie (Ray), Mary Alves (Doug), Zinda Leary (Eddie), and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Carl, Tony, Joe and Tabs. Theresa will be forever missed by her family and friends. Funeral services and burial are private.
