Obituary for Thomas H. Beddow
Thomas H. Beddow, 64 died suddenly on July 29, 2006. Born and raised in Springfield, the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Geehern) Beddow, he lived in Ludlow for many years before recently moving to Suffield Ct. Tom attended Technical High School, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western New England College. During his earlier years he worked at the Westfield Paper River Company and at Farm Credit Banks as a Vice-President of Information Management. He was currently employed as Director of Information Security at Massachusetts Mutual Financial Group in Springfield, Ma. Tom was a special individual, who treated people from all walks of life with dignity and respect. He was a “true” gentleman who possessed integrity and wisdom. He enjoyed gardening and the outdoors as demonstrated by his love for golf. Tom was an avid golfer who for the last 14 years enjoyed his membership at the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst. He is survived by his children; Deborah Stellato and her husband Mario of Agawam, Steven Beddow of Weymouth, and Todd Beddow and his wife Tracie of Agawam, the children of his former wife Judy A. Beddow also of Agawam; a brother Richard Beddow and his wife Trudy of Accokeek Md. Tom also leaves his longtime loving companion Barbara A. Chenaille of Suffield Ct. and her children Kim Chenaille of Ludlow, Keith Chenaille and his wife Angela , and Kurt Chenaille  all of Ft. Myers Fl. In addition to several nieces, he also leaves his grandchildren; James, Josephine, Thomas and Michael Stellato, Angelina Beddow, Steven Fleming, Karlie and Dylan Beddow, William Manewich II , Ethan Chenaille and Emily Wright. Funeral services Wednesday  morning at 9 AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church , Springfield at 10. Burial to follow in Agawam Center Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM.Donations in his memory may be made to the Sacred Heart Church Roof Fund, 395 Chesnut St. Springfield 01104, or the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO BOX 642 Suffield, Ct. 06078
