Thomas James Kukla of Ludlow, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 1, 2024, at the age of 65 after a long illness. Born in Ludlow, Tom was a lifelong resident and 1976 graduate of Ludlow High School. He was the son of the late Edward and Eileen (Canning) Kukla. Tom will be remembered for his ability to get a laugh out of any situation, a zest to live life on his own terms, and his amazing talent for art and glass etching. Tom is survived by his children Cory Vigneault and Stephanie Kukla, and cherished grandsons Patrick Danek and Grayson Hamm. Tom loved being a grandfather and enjoyed spending time with them. He also leaves sisters, Karen Manring, and Teresa Dugre and husband James. Brothers, John Kukla and his partner Sue Lebida, Joseph Kukla and his wife Denise, and Christopher Kukla. Many nieces and nephews as well as many loving extended family members and lifelong friends. A special thanks to his hospice team, especially Cherl H and Sarah, who brought Tom much comfort, and support to his daughter Stephanie. Immediate services will be private and Tom's family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. For those who wish to honor his memory, donations can be made to the charity of their choice.
