Obituary for Tillie "Lee" Brunelle
Tillie “Lee” (Worona) Brunelle, 94, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2011 at the Golden Living Center at Oak Hill in Middleboro, Ma, with her loving family by her side. Born in Clifton, NJ, daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Telischak) Worona, she came to Ludlow in 1945 and was a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church as well as a member of its Womens Association. She worked for the Chapman Credit Union and loved crafting, cooking and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was also a member of the Ludlow Senior Citizens and served on the Council on Aging for 10 years. Lee was the beloved wife of the late Edward C. Brunelle, who predeceased her in 1999; a loving mother to Edward C Jr. and wife Vivian, of Phoenix, AZ, Dennis S. and wife Mary, of Vernon, Ct, and Roger P. and wife Marsha, of Middleboro, Ma; a cherished grandmother to Roger Brunelle and wife Lorna, and Katie Briggs and husband Tom; and great-grandmother to Brent Hastings and Mia and Adam Briggs. She is also survived by her devoted sister Olga Taynai and loving brother in-law Ernest Brunelle, both of Ludlow, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00am at Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours will precede the funeral on Friday from 10:00-11:00am.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Paul’s Methodist Church Women’s Association 123 Hubbard St Ludlow, Ma. 01056 or the Ludlow Senior Center 37 Chestnut St Ludlow, Ma. 01056.
