Obituary for Vernita 'Vickie' (Reynolds) Quigley
Vernita "Vickie" J. (Reynolds) Quigley, 73, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Farmingdale, ME, daughter of the late Walter and Rosa (Dudley) Reynolds, an has lived in Ludlow for most of her life. Vernita was the loving mother and mother in law to Gary "Bear" Quigley, of Ludlow, Walter E. Quigley, of Springfield, Deana L. Drinkwine and husband Bobby, of Ludlow and daughter in law Donna Quigley, of Palmer; a cherished grandmother to Melissa Ryan, of Springfield, the late Walter Quigley Jr., and Samantha-Jo and Brandi-Lyn Drinkwine, both of Ludlow; great-grandmother of Cassidy and Caitlyn Ryan; a dear sister to Gary Reynolds, of FL, and her late half brother E. George Koutalakis; an adoring aunt to G.G. and Emmy Koutalakis, of ME, Steven Koutalakis, of NH, Daniel Koutalakis, of NJ, Debbie Kahn, of FL, and Dean Reynolds, of FL; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the entire staff of Birch Manor Nursing Home for all of the care and compassion that they showed to them. Visiting hours for Vickie will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 5:30-7:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial in Island Pond Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family
