Obituary for Veronica (Boyer) McCarthy
Veronica (Boyer) McCarthy, 92, of Wilbraham passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday March 15, 2022. Born in Springfield to the late Philippe and Cora (Stebbins) Boyer, she was a long time Ludlow resident and a faithful communicant of St. Cecilia's Parish. Veronica enjoyed reading her bible and spending her winters in Florida, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her adored family. Veronica was the beloved wife of the late John McCarthy who predeceased her in 2013; she leaves her loving children; Celeste LePage and her husband Gary, John McCarthy Jr. and his wife Amy, Kevin McCarthy and wife Linda, Joy Anne Dias and husband Sergio and Jillmarie DeCarolis and her husband Steven; 15 dear Grandchildren Leo, Faith, John who has been caretaker of his Grandmother for the last year, Elizabeth, Sarah, Michael, Alyssa, Meghan, Brian, Sean, Ryan, Justin, Tyler, Joshua and Sage; 7 Great grandchildren Jacob, Alyssa, Isaac, Riley, Cora, Robert and Lara the newest member who has given great Grammy many smiles, as well as several cherished nieces and nephews including her beloved godchild Karen Miarecki. Funeral services for Veronica will be held on Monday March 21, 2022 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9:30-11:15am with a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 12:00pm in St. Cecilia's Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
