Obituary for Victoria S. (Ziemba) Sasur
Victoria S. (Ziemba) Sasur, 87, of Ludlow, was passed away peacefully on February 16, 2010.  Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Ladislaus and Bronislawa Ziemba, she was a lifelong resident and faithful communicant of Christ the King Church.  She worked for many years at the former Steigers Dept. Store before her retirement.  Victoria was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Sasur, who predeceased her in 1990; the loving mother of Susanne Wolpert and her husband Gary, of Mason, NH, and the late Richard Sasur, who predeceased her in 1982; the cherished grandmother and great grandmother of: Richard’s children Rebeca Denault, her husband Dominic, and their daughter Faith, of Springfield, and Tiffany Sasur, also of Springfield; mother-in-law to Linda (Sasur) Humphries and her husband Ed, of Springfield; also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to Susanne and Gary’s children Eric Wolpert and fiancé Jessica Norton, of Worcester, Steve Wolpert, his wife Patty, and their children Katherine, Ella and Kevin, of Ohio, Patti Virden, her husband Jake, and their children Presley and Parker, of CO, and Mary Vaughn and her daughter Rebeccah Webster, also of CO;  and also leaves many extended family members and dear friends.  Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 9am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Christ the King Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Visitation is on Friday from 5-8pm.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victoria’s memory to Adoration Chapel of Christ the King Church 41 Warsaw Ave. Ludlow, Ma. 01056.
