Obituary for Victoria "Vicky" (LeBlanc) Rueli
Victoria Marie (LeBlanc) Rueli, affectionately known as Vicky, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2026 at the age of 40. Vicky was born on November 24, 1985 to Christopher and Kathleen (Michalczyk) LeBlanc and grew up in Ludlow where she attended St John the Baptist School and graduated from Ludlow High School in 2003 and later went on to further her education and complete her degree in nursing becoming a licensed registered nurse. She was the head nurse for the Split Rock Surgical Center in Wilton Ct., where she worked alongside Dr. Niel Gordon in the OR and tending to the patients in their care. In her spare time, Vicky enjoyed traveling, undertaking DIY activities, outdoor activities, attending family functions, an occasional round of golf with her mom and dad, spending special time with her sister Nicole and more recently, with her nephew Lyle, as well as family and friends. But her most cherished activity was spending time and sharing experiences with her son Jake, who was the light of her life.
Vicky brought a lot of light everywhere she went and touched the lives of the people she knew, living life to the fullest every day. She often went out of her way to do special things for her family and friends. Besides her parents, she leaves her cherished son Jacob, her sister and best friend Nicole and her partner Brian Davis, her nephew Lyle Davis, her grandmother Doris Frigon of Ludlow, and grandmother Theresa Conner of Ludlow, grandfather Michael Michalczyk, Sr. of South Hadley, her godmother Renee Napolitano or Florida, her close cousins, aunts and uncles and many friends.
Visiting hours celebrating Vicky’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18th from 2-4pm at Ludlow Funeral Home, with a celebration of life to follow at the Ludlow Country Club at 4:15pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vicky’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. (stjude.org)
