Obituary for Vito "Lefty" Mucaria
Vito “Lefty” Mucaria, 90, of Ludlow died August 31, 2007. Born in New York City, N.Y., he was the son of Vincenzo and Rosa (LoGrasso) Mucaria. “Lefty” was a WW II US Army Veteran and a Monsanto Company retiree. An avid ballplayer, Lefty played on various industrial teams, as well as coached little league teams in Ludlow. He is survived by his wife, Rosalina (Martins) Mucaria, and his daughters Gloria, her husband Robert Fortunato and sons Michael and Matthew of Belchertown; Roz and her husband Bob Sousa of Ludlow; his sisters Sara Mucaria and Josephine Lello of Brooklyn NY, plus several nieces and a nephew.
