Obituary for Wade E. Lamberton
Wade E. Lamberton, 81, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Wade was born in Ludlow to the late Robert and Anne (Hnatow) Lamberton and was a lifelong resident. He was a 1963 graduate of High School of Commerce and following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his honorable discharge in 1967, Wade began a 40 plus year career with the United States Postal Service from where he retired. In addition, he was a 52 year member of the Ludlow Elks Club.
Wade was a beloved brother to Neal Lamberton and wife Diane and Hope Nicodemus; a loving uncle to Michael Lamberton and wife Angela and Desirae Nicodemus; a cherished great uncle to Trevor Lamberton (Talia), Alexandrea Lamberton, Cassie Lebel, and Caitlin Lebel; and also leaves his great-grand nephew Jackson Lamberton, his longtime friend Henry Scibelli, as well as many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services for Wade will be held on Thursday, May 28th. Visiting hours are from 8:30-10:00am at Ludlow Funeral Home followed by procession to Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam for an 11:00am committal with Military Honors.
