Obituary for Wanda (Tenerowicz) Szczebak
Wanda Szczebak 1916 - 2006 Wanda (Tenerowicz) Szczebak, 89, of Ludlow, was called to Heaven on May 30,2006. Born in Ludlow, the daughter of Stanley and Madelina (Jenik) Tenerowicz, she was a lifelong resident, a communicant of Christ the King Church and a member of the Ludlow Senior Citizens Club. Wanda was the beloved wife of the late John Szczebak, who predeceased her in 1986; a dear step-mother to Lucille “Tiny” Gauthier of Ludlow; and Jean DeVito of Illinois; and also leaves 10 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren and 6 step-great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are Saturday June 3, 2006 from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a chapel service beginning at 8:45am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday morning only from 7:15am-8:45am and donations may be made in Wanda’s memory to Shriners’ Hospital for Children 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA. 01104.
