Obituary for William C. Lynch, Jr.
William C. Lynch Jr. passed away peacefully on March 23. 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Westfield, the son of the late William Sr. and Alice (O'Dea) Lynch. He attended Cathedral High School and was a graduate of Cranwell Preparatory School and Holy Cross College. He lived most of his life in Wilbraham where he was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Parish. Bill worked for many years at Springfield Buick Co. and Williams Distributing Co. before retiring. He was an avid golfer, a member of Naples (FL) Heritage Country Club, and a longtime member and past president of the Country Club of Wilbraham. Bill was the beloved husband of 49 years to Catherine (Wright) Lynch, and was a loving father to Lesley Pallotta and husband David, William Lynch and wife Ann, Kathleen Ford and husband Dan, Joseph Karam and wife Melissa, Elizabeth Lopata and husband Dennis, and Christopher Lynch and wife Amy. He was a devoted grandfather to 24 grandchildren and great grandfather to 14, and leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends. Services were held privately by the family. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to Brightside for Families and Children or to the charity of one's choice.
