Obituary for William Comtois
William Comtois, 75, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Monday March 16th, 2009 surrounded by his caring family. Born in Springfield to the late Robert and Frances (Kulig) Comtois he was a long time Ludlow resident and communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish. William worked for over 38 years at the former Monsanto Corporation before his retirement in 1991. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Twible) Comtois who predeceased him in 2001. William leaves his loving children; William Comtois of Ludlow, Carole Cunningham of Ware and Sandy Brown of Chicopee; cherished grandchildren Julie, Edward, William Jr., Allenna, Tanya, Albert and Robert as well as his caring sister Phyllis Zerra of West Springfield. Funeral services will be on Thursday March 19th, 2009 at 9:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation is on Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00pm.
