While Bill was a native of Holyoke, the Connecticut River was his true home. He loved boating, fishing and camping there. He was the proud captain of his family's house boat, Slow Ride. Spending summers boating with his family and his river friends were among his favorite memories. With his light-hearted nature and infectious laugh, anyone who met Bill soon called him friend. Bill loved driving his Gold Wing motorcycle, taking great care of his customers, sharing his passion for technology, and always had the latest gadgets. Above all, Bill cherished every moment of his life, approaching each day as a blessing.
Visiting hours for Bill will be held on Thursday, July 6th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Ludlow Funeral Home. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Gathering on Friday, June 7th where family and friends may gather directly at Hadley Farms Meeting House at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute (dana-farber.org) PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
