Obituary for Antoinette "Toni" McLeish
Antoinette “Toni” McLeish, 100, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away on August 12, 2016. She was born in Ludlow, Ma. and was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Toni worked for many years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft from where she retired in 1980, and in 1997, she moved to Florida to be near her family. While residing in Ludlow, she and her late husband, Ronald, were active members of the Ludlow Senior Center and between them served for 7 years as president of the Golden Agers. She also conducted exercise classes at both the Wilson St. and Chestnut St. complexes. Toni was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 1996 , her son Ronald in 1982, and her grandson Craig Allen in 2007. She leaves her daughter Maureen Allen and husband Bert, of Palm Harbor, FL; their 2 sons Christopher (Dionne), of Indiana, and Corey, of Tennessee. She also leaves her grandson Ronald Scott (Cassandra) of CT, granddaughters Patti-Ann (Bert) Moyland, of MA, and Carla Bustamante, of FL; great-grandsons Shane Smith, Gabriel and Jackson Allen, and Jonathan and Ayden Allen; great-granddaughter Kiana Robles; great-great granddaughter Hope Rose Smith; and daughter-in-law Irma Gladys McLeish. Funeral services for Toni will be held on Friday, October 14th. Visiting hours are from 10:15-11:00am concluding with funeral home chapel services at 11:00am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
