Obituary for Domingos Goncalves Alves
Domingos Goncalves Alves, 81, of Ludlow passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Sunday April 19, 2020. Born in Padornelos, Portugal he has lived in Ludlow for many years and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and a proud member of the Gremio Lusitano Club, he also enjoyed gardening and keeping an immaculate yard. He leaves his beloved wife Ilda Goncalves (Crespo) Alves of Ludlow; loving daughter Ilda Alves Afonso and husband Eliseu; adored grandchildren Christopher, Alexander and Victoria Afonso. Sadly he was predeceased by his brothers Joao and Antonio Alves. Domingos’ family would like to thank the Palmer Dialysis staff for their care and support over the past two years. Funeral services for Domingos were held privately by his family and his arrangements were entrusted to Ludlow Funeral Home.
