Obituary for Phyllis (Charron) Gagne
Phyllis (Charron) Gagne, 74, of Hopewell VA, formerly of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 in Virginia. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Albert and Laura Charron and worked in the banking industry for many years. Phyllis was a fathul communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow and Church of the Sacred Heart in S. Prince George, VA, where she was actively involved, and in her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and music. She was also passionate about her family, her dogs Molly and Mabel, and especially loved playing video games with her grandchildren. Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Major Armand Gagne; a loving mother to Joseph P. Lemieux of Hopewell VA, Tamera L. Langone of Ludlow MA, step-mother to Ellyn Gagne Atkinson, of Frederick MD, Bruce Gagne, of Charles Town WV, and the late Robert Gagne; dear sister to Jeannette Plata of Florida, Robert Charron, of Springfield, and the late Albert Charron; a devoted grandmother to Nicholas Langone of Ludlow, Michael and Tyler Langone, both of Palmer, Ma, Laura Langone of Belchertown, Alexia Sebastiao of Boston, Ian Lemieux of Southwick, Jordan Nova of Columbia, MD, Kristen Atkinson of Elkridge, MD, and Cooper and Calvin Gagne, Charles Town, WV; great-grandmother of 4; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends both here and in Virginia. Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Monday, November 2nd. Walk-through no contact visitation will be held from 8:45-10:00am in Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis’s memory to The Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org
