Obituary for Agostinho Dias
Agostinho Dias, 71, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2020. Born in Morgade, Portugal, he was the son of the late Agostinho and Maria (Teixeira) Dias. He immigrated to the United States settling in Ludlow where he was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church and the Gremio Lusitano Club. Augie worked for 34 years for Smith and Wesson from where he retired and in his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends. Augie leaves his children Michelle Dias Bradway and husband Edward, Christopher Dias and wife Christa, and Steven Dias; his grandchildren Nathan, Mia, Madison, and Paulo; his siblings Theresa Stellato and husband Charlie, Maria Ribeiro and husband Armando, Ana Goncalves and husband Antonio, and Domingos Dias and wife Adelaide; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Isabel Rodrigues and brother Jose Dias. Funeral services for Augie will be held privately by his family.
