Obituary for Danny W. Cropanese, Sr. aka Radar
Danny Cropanese, Sr. 68, also known as Radar, of Ludlow, passed away on January 16, 2021. Born in Patterson, NJ, son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Cropanese, Radar was a United States Navy Veteran. As a longtime resident of Ludlow, he was a well known local chef and owner of Radar’s Pub. Aside from cooking, he loved fishing, NASCAR, the N.E. Patriots, the beach, and traveling the world, especially on cruises. He will be remembered for his love of people and his amazing home cooked meals. Danny Cropanese Sr. leaves his children Danny Cropanese, Jr, and wife Katelyn and Rachelle Tenczar and husband John; his partner Rhonda Hillman and her children Frank and Kira Hillman; his siblings Frank Cropanese and wife Peggy, Joe Cropanese and wife Michelle, Karen Contakis and husband Tony, and Laurie Cropanese; his grandchildren Abby Lempke, Karissa, Brianna and Ellianna Cropanese, Jeffrey and Amber Singleton, Kyle Cropanese, Debra Fling, Brendan Figueroa, and Jayden and Jorden Adea; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Visitation for Radar will be held on Friday, January 22nd from 9:00am - 10:45am in Ludlow Funeral Home adhering to no contact and social distancing guidelines. Family and friends may then gather at 12pm in Forestdale West Cemetery 210 Rock Valley Rd. Holyoke for a committal service. Due to current restrictions, those wishing to join the procession to the cemetery from the funeral home, should arrive at the funeral home no earlier than 10:15am.
