Obituary for Maria Rosa Costa
Maria Rosa (da Silva) Costa, 97, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021. Born in Northern Portugal, daughter of the late Aurelio Goncalves and Maria Cezaltina, she was educated in Portugal and worked as an RN before immigrating to the United States in 1967. She then worked for many years at Olympic Sales in CT, from where she retired, and was also a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Rogerio Acacio Costa, who predeceased her in 2005; a loving mother to Baltazar Costa, of Ludlow, and Rogerio Costa, of Portugal; a cherished grandmother to Maria Rosa and Rogerio; and great-grandmother of 4. Funeral services for Maria will be held privately by her family
