Obituary for Dale F. (Codding) Gagne
Dale Frances (Codding) Gagne, of Ludlow, entered into eternal peace on March 11th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Dale was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Carmela (Scarbaci) Codding. She spent most of her life in Ludlow where she was a 1964 graduate of Ludlow High School and worked as the Assistant Treasurer for the town before her retirement. Dale was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion and sense of humor! She was always so much fun to be with no matter where you were! She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Dale was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Gagne. She leaves her 2 sons, Kenneth Gagne and partner Lisa Gonzales, and James Gagne and wife Kim; her grandchildren, Willow, Jade and Jimmy, all of Ludlow; sister Judie (Codding) Johnston and husband William of Newtown; brother James Robert Codding and wife Terry of Ludlow; niece Jennifer (Johnston) Cebry and husband Jim; nephews William Johnston, III and wife Rabiya; Michael Codding and wife Amanda; Jason Codding and wife Sandy; Joseph Codding and wife Kali; as well as several great nieces and a nephew and cousins. Funeral services for Dale will be held on Wednesday, March 16th in Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 9:00-10:30am concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
