Obituary for Edward James "Eddie" Govin, Jr.
Edward James Govin, Jr., 38, formerly of East Longmeadow, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2018 in North Carolina He was the son of Karen A. Govin, of East Longmeadow, and the late Edward J. Govin, Sr. Eddie grew up in East Longmeadow where he attended East Longmeadow High School and eventually settled in Wilmington, NC. He worked for many years in the landscaping industry and in his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors and especially fishing. Eddie leaves his mother Karen A. Govin; wife Dawn Govin; brother Michael D. Govin; sisters Donna M. Marquardt, and Krystle L. Govin; nephew Thomas C. Graham, II; as well as many extended family members and friends. All funeral services for Eddie will be held privately by his family and he will be laid to rest with his father in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
