Obituary for Ronald Connaughton
Ronald R. Connaughton, 80 of Ludlow, Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was a parishioner of St. Rose De Lima Church in Chicopee and has been retired for 20 years from Hanson Pattern and Allied Pattern. He was a lifelong pattern maker who enjoyed creating keepsakes out of wood. He enjoyed playing bingo and loved watching Patriots football. His cherished memories are the summers vacationing in Rhode Island with his family and 9 grandchildren. Ronald shared his life with his beloved wife of 57 years Barbara Connaughton; loving father to Jeffrey and fiancee Lynn, Doreen and husband Michael Castor, Darcey and husband John Crespo, Brian and wife Vivian Connaughton; special Dziadziu to 9 grandchildren. He leaves 1 brother and was predeceased by his 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services for Ronald will be held on Wednesday December 19th, 2018. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at St. Rose De Lima Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00am followed by procession to Island Pond Cemetery for burial. Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00pm.
