Obituary for William "Bill" Jozefczyk
William “Bill” Jozefczyk, 54, of Ludlow passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 27, 2019. Born in Holyoke, Bill was an Engineer at Eastman Chemical Company. He was a graduate of South Hadley High School in 1982 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Umass. Bill loved to play his guitar, he also enjoyed playing softball in the Monsanto/Solutia softball league and bowled at Chicopee Lanes. In 1993 Bill married his beloved wife Rosa (Chen) Jozefczyk and together they raised 2 daughters Belinda and Andrea Jozefczyk in Ludlow where they were communicants of St. Elizabeth Parish. Bill also leaves his parents, his mother Nancy (Thorpe) Landry and her late husband Kenneth Landry and his father Robert S. Jozefczyk and his partner Ellen Abernathy of Springfield; his brothers Paul Jozefczyk, Richard Landry and wife Lisa and his sister Karen (Jozefczyk) Superski all of South Hadley; mother-in-law Felicidad Monroy of Panama as well as several cherished nieces, nephews cousins and extended family and friends. Funeral services for Bill will be held on Thursday May 2, 2019 from the Ludlow Funeral Home at 9:00am with a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 10:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday evening May 1, from 4:00-7:00pm and in lieu of flowers it was the wish of Bill’s family that donations be made in his memory to: Crohn’s Colitis Foundation @ crohnscolitisfoundation.org.
