Obituary for Irene (Santos) Leite
Irene (Santos) Leite, 90, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Thursday July 24, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Born in Ludlow she was the daughter of the late Gregorio and Maria (Faustino) Santos and was a long time Ludlow resident.
Irene
was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Leite who predeceased her in 1975. She leaves her loving daughters Tondra Lalli and her husband Remo of East Longmeadow and Toni Leite of Danbury, CT; cherished grandchildren Adam Amaral, Taryn Wallach and Hunter Wallach. Sadly Irene was predeceased by her brother Armand “Teaboy” Santos and sisters Adelaide and Antonia.
It was the wish of Irene’s family that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to: Children’s Miracle Network @cmnwi.org or the local chapter Children's Miracle Network c/o Baystate Health Foundation 280 Chestnut Street 6th floor Springfield, Ma. 01199.
Funeral services for Irene will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 10:00am-11:15 with a Chapel service beginning at 11:15am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
