Obituary for Mary R. (Campora) Panek
"I LOVE YOU MORE"
Mary (Campora) Panek, 88, of Ludlow, died peacefully on January 27, 2014.  Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Ercole and Adelina (Alves) Campora, she was a lifelong resident and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish.  Mary worked for many years at Jessie’s Clothing Shop in Ludlow before retiring; but the thing she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored.  Mary was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Panek who predeceased her in 2000; a loving mother to Andrew Panek and his wife Ronda, of Ludlow; a cherished grandmother to Tanya Carreira and husband Nelson, of Wilbraham, and Drew Panek, of Ludlow; an adoring great-grandmother to Austin and Alexis Carreira; a dear sister to Casmeda Mariani, of Ludlow, Theresa Marsili, of Agawam, and the late Mario Campora; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. It was the family’s request that the funeral services be held privately. Â
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to Shriner's Hospital for Children 516 Carew Street Springfield, Ma. 01104
