Obituary for Jose F. Fortunato
Jose F. Fortunato, 65, died peacefully on July 22nd surrounded by his loving family. Born in Portugal, he has lived in Ludlow most of his life where he belonged to the Gremio Lusitano Club and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He worked for over 39 years at Danaher Tools and United Plastics before retiring. Jose leaves his beloved wife Maria (Rego) Fortunato, his mother, 2 daughters and their husbands, 5 grandchildren, a brother, as well as many loving extended family members and friends. Funeral services are on Thursday, July 25th at 9am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 6-8pm. Â
