Obituary for Almeda M. Guyette
Almeda Marie (Picard) Guyette, 83, of Ludlow, entered into eternal rest with her loving family by her side on Sunday, May 5, 2013. Born in Caswell Plantation, Maine, she lived in Ludlow most of her life. For many years she was a quality control supervisor for the former Rexcel Corp. of Ludlow. Almeda was the widow of Richard Guyette, who died in 1980, and was predeceased by her siblings, John, Lawrence, Simon, and Evonne Cantin. She is survived by her 2 sons, James of Ludlow, and Gary Guyette and his wife Julie of Newington Ct.; her grandchildren, Adam and Brianne Guyette; 2 step grandchildren, Paolina and John Malgari; 2 great grandchildren, Jade and Abigail; her siblings, Ozzie Picard and his wife Judy, Albert Picard, and his wife Iva, Eva Hazelwood, Kay Greenier, Adelaide Brown, and Dot Picard; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, May 14th, at 9:15 A.M. from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Elizabeth’s Parish followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-7pm.
