Obituary for Amanda Croisetiere
Amanda Croisetiere, 16, of Agawam lost her life tragically on Friday November 30, 2012. Born in Springfield she was the daughter of Donald Croisetiere and Rebecca (Smith) Gilman. Amanda was educated at St. John the Baptist School in Ludlow and was a Sophomore at Agawam High School, where she was a social butterfly and participated in many school activities and events. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. Besides her parents she leaves her sisters Nichole Croisetiere, Katie Croisetiere and Brittany Gilman; beloved grandparents Richard and Debra Belisle of Ludlow, Eugene David Smith of Agawam and Donald and Rita Croisetiere of Chicopee; caring uncles Richard Belisle Jr. , Eugene Smith III and her aunts Kimberly Palmer and her husband Scott and Lisa Buffington and her husband Kenneth; her loving great-grandmother Doris Nichols and her newborn nephew Jahcee as well as several cherished cousins, friends, classmates and extended family throughout the community. Sadly Amanda was predeceased by her aunt Michelle Smith. Funeral services for Amanda will be held on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 from the Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East St. Ludlow. Visiting hours are Wednesday morning only from 9:15-11:00am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated in the Catholic Community of Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church, 181 Hubbard St., Ludlow at 12:00pm with Monsignor Homer P. Gosselin officiating, followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Amanda’s family has asked that donations may be made in her memory to: Ludlow Funeral Home, to be used in accordance of the families wishes.
