Obituary for Leaphy "Caroline" (Fay) Brennan
Leaphy “Caroline” (Fay) Brennan, 86, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2010. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Walter and Leaphy Fay, she has lived in Ludlow since 1939 where she was a faithful communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She was a teachers aide for the Granby School Dept. for many years before retiring and was also a 4H leader for 15 years, an accomplished artist and craftsman, and especially enjoyed baking. Caroline was the beloved wife of the late Leonard J. Brennan, who predeceased her in 1996; a loving mother to Leonard Brennan Jr. and his wife Dianne, of Bondsville, Michael Brennan, of Ludlow, Margaret Dovalina and her husband Ernesto, of Laredo, TX and Maureen Cotti and her husband Richard, also of Ludlow; a cherished grandmother to Kyle, Amanda, Caroline, Daniel, Lauren and Susan; great-grandmother of 3; and also leaves many extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 26, 2010. A chapel service will be held at Ludlow Funeral Home at 10:00am with Rev. Francis Manning officiating followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation is on Sunday from 4-7pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Caroline’s memory to the Ludlow Veteran’s Memorial Fund c/o Veterans Services 488 Chapin St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056 or the charity of ones choice.
