Obituary for Hector M. Rodriguez
Hector M. Rodriguez, 59, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 6, 2010. Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, son of the late Francisco and Julia (Rosario) Rodriguez, he came to the U.S. at a young age and was a United States Army Veteran proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at Milton Bradley and most recently at Rock-Tenn Co. Hector was the loving father of Jonathan Rodriguez, of Ludlow, and Julie Ingalls and her husband Michael, of East Longmeadow; a cherished grandfather to Courtney, Madison, and Ryan Ingalls; a dear brother to Angel Rodriguez, of South Hadley, Aida Burgos, of FL, Lourdes Mazza, of Springfield, and the late William and Orlando Rodriguez and Maria Collazo; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends including his niece Linda Moralez, close friends Cindy and Joe Vasco; and his loyal dog Ina. Visiting hours for Hector will be on Monday, May 10, 2010 from 5-7:45pm concluding with a Celebration of Life Service. Friends and family are then asked to gather for Committal services with military honors on Wednesday, May 12, at 10:00am in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
