Obituary for Virginia (Whitaker) Dawson
Virginia (Whitaker) Dawson, 87, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 24th, 2010. Born in Natick, the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Loker) Whitaker, she spent her childhood and most of her life in Natick before recently moving to Ludlow. Virginia leaves her beloved husband of 47 years Charles Dawson; loving children, John Lamont and his wife Holly of Southborough, MA., Virginia Reid and her husband Kenneth of Wertz, VA. and Warren Lamont and his wife Norine of Ludlow; cherished grandmother and great-grandmother and a caring aunt to several nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her brothers George, Walter, and Richard as well as her first husband Warren Lamont. A celebration of life service for Virginia will be held on Tuesday evening, April 27th, 2010. Visiting hours are from 5:00-7:00pm with services beginning at 6:30pm.
