Obituary for Donna M. Moreno
Donna Marie Moreno, 46, of Chicopee, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 10, 2006. Born in Ludlow on March 6, 1960, the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Palheiredo) Moreno, she graduated from Ludlow High School and St. John’s School of Business. Donna was employed for many years at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co., and in recent years she found success and fulfillment, pursuing her lifelong love of art. An accomplished painter in both oils and water colors, she was also a talented artisan of hand crafted jewelry designs. She leaves, to cherish her memory always, a brother Louis Moreno Jr. of Ludlow, her sisters; Lori Kedziorek and her husband Oscar of Ludlow and Judy Metcalf and her husband Kevin of Belchertown, her life companion and best friend Manuel DaSilva Jr. of Chicopee, her niece and Godchild Kimberly Kedziorek of Northampton and niece and nephew Michelle and Joseph Moreno of Granby, as well as her beloved pet cat Felicia. She will be truly missed by all her family and friends who loved her. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 8 AM from the Ludlow Funeral home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church at 9. Burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
