Obituary for Sophie Macutkiewicz
Sophie I. (Bator) Macutkiewicz, 84, of Ludlow was called safely home to be with God on Saturday April 8, 2006. Born in Ludlow she was a lifelong resident and a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church, where she belonged to the St. Anns’s Sodality. She leaves her loving son Alec Macutkiewicz of Ludlow; caring sister Stella Malek of Florida; sisters in law Irene, Jean, Loretta, Rose and Stella as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Sophie was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty years Alexander, who passed away in 1996. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2006 at 9am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Christ the King Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 4-8 PM.
